Contributions received by United Way are essential
since government funding is not enough to pay for
all of the services needed in our community. Even if
you can give only a few dollars, your gift will
count when combined with pledges from your friends
and co-workers. If you are giving at work, consider
the payroll deduction option. You can choose an
amount to be taken out of your check each pay
period. Your deduction will add up over a year,
which may benefit you at tax time.
FOR PEOPLE TRULY IN NEED
We respect that you work hard for
your money and know you want to help people who
truly need it. People who receive help from United
Way funded agencies are carefully screened to be
sure they honestly need assistance.
